You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Where required, we will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies.
Storage on your device
The Arvelo app does not use cookies. It stores a small amount of data locally on your device, using your device's standard app storage, to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences and settings. This data is removed when you sign out or
uninstall the app.

App development or CRM platforms, if introduced in the future
These providers may process your data only where necessary to provide their services to us.
Section 8a — Payments and subscriptions
Arvelo Premium is an auto-renewing subscription. Where you subscribe inside the iOS app, the payment is taken by Apple through your App Store account. Arvelo does not receive or store your card details. We receive only confirmation of the purchase and your subscription status. Your subscription is managed, and can be cancelled, in your Apple ID subscription settings, and Apple's own privacy policy applies to the payment itself. Any refund request is handled by Apple.
Where you subscribe outside the App Store, the payment is processed by Stripe. Arvelo does not receive or store your full card details. We keep a record of your subscription status so we can give you access to premium content, and we retain purchase records for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes.
Section 8b — Push notifications
If you allow push notifications, we use OneSignal to deliver them. This involves processing a notification token that identifies your device, along with basic
device information. You can turn push notifications off at any time in your device settings, or manage what you receive in Communication Preferences inside the app. Turning them off does not affect your account or your access to Arvelo.
9. Who we share your personal information with
We may share personal information with:
Website hosting providers
Email marketing providers
Analytics providers
Professional advisers, such as accountants or legal advisers
Delivery or fulfilment providers for competition prizes

This includes Supabase, Mixpanel, OneSignal, Stripe and Apple. Where personal data leaves the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the transfer risk assessment those safeguards require. You can ask us for more detail about the safeguards that apply by contacting us at privacy@arvelo.co.uk.
